While the Site is supported in part by advertising, including Google AdSense, advertisers have no influence over our news judgment, article content, or editorial rankings. Any relationship that could reasonably be seen as influencing coverage is disclosed to readers.

We aim to base our reporting on credible, verifiable sources. Depending on the story, this may include:

Roundups, wire-sourced updates, or routine data-driven content (such as market recaps or sports scores) may be published under a general staff or editorial byline rather than an individual author.

8. AI-Assisted Content

USA News Grid uses artificial intelligence tools to assist with certain editorial tasks, including summarization, drafting of routine data-driven updates, and copyediting support, as described in full in our AI Content Disclosure. All AI-assisted content is subject to human editorial review before publication, and our sourcing and fact-checking standards apply equally to AI-assisted and fully human-written content.

9. Opinion, Analysis, and News Coverage

We distinguish between straight news reporting and opinion, commentary, or analysis content. Opinion and analysis pieces reflect the views of the individual author and are not necessarily representative of the editorial views of USA News Grid as a whole. Where practical, such content is labeled to help readers distinguish it from straight news reporting.

10. Sponsored Content and Advertising

If USA News Grid publishes sponsored content, paid partnerships, or native advertising, such content will be clearly and conspicuously labeled as sponsored, paid, or promotional, in accordance with FTC guidance on advertising disclosures. Sponsored content is held to basic standards of legality and non-deception but is understood by readers to reflect the sponsor’s message rather than independent editorial judgment.
